Dale Hudson, co author of two amazing crime books, has a masters degree in psychology, education and religion. Currently he resides in South Carolina where the events of this must read book took place.
Hudson takes us on a journey through the murder of Brent Poole. Renee Poole, Brent's wife, from day one was on the hot spot for murder, or somehow being involved in the planning of the murder. The amount of critical evidence highlighted in this book really involves the readers throughout this journey, helping us understand the hardship these families went through as well as the accused.
Throughout this whole book my heart was with 2 1/2 year old Katie Poole. This little girl had her world flipped upside down as her mother went to prison and her father was murdered, now she is left to be raised by her grandparents. She truly was the victim in this whole catastrophe. It really boggled my mind as to how a mother could ever involve herself in such activities and make such brutal decisions knowing that she would devastate her child, and now this child is left alone in this world with so many questions and no answers that are good enough.
